PillCount – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using PillCount (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

PillCount provides camera-based pill counting and related features to assist with medication organization. The App is intended for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of 18, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes
• Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to access the App’s source code
• Use the App in a way that interferes with its normal operation
• Misrepresent the App’s output as medical or professional advice

5. Camera Access

The App requires access to your device’s camera to perform pill counting. Images are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded or stored by us.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

PillCount Premium is offered as an optional subscription. All payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Google Play Billing according to Google’s policies.

By purchasing a subscription, you grant us permission to verify your entitlement using purchase tokens provided by Google Play.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Tech Formats LLC makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App.

Pill counts generated by the App may not be accurate in all conditions. You are responsible for verifying results before making medication decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Formats LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Incorrect pill counts
• Device malfunction or data loss
• Subscription or billing issues handled by Google Play
• Any decisions made based on App output

9. Modifications to the Service

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time without notice. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
